2012 - Present     Global PSD/Channel Photographics, San Rafael, California
Designer: Design for a prominent international publishing and printing company, including design and upkeep of two websites (globalpsd.com and channelphotographics.com), and print design of several high-end photographic and archictectural books. Duties also include design of email blasts, manipulation of ebook content, uploading to various content delivery services, design of collateral materials such as brochures and tradeshow booth graphics. Art direction of photoshoots.

2008 - 2011     ASDavis Media Group, San Francisco, California
Designer/Production Manager: Design and upkeep of this international travel company’s massive website (nightanddayguides.com and pulseguides.com), as well as the maintenance of monthly eLetters for the past three years, delivered to a large international client base, featuring updated content, articles, and reviews. Campaigns include follow-up Google analytics and strategy. Completed a total overhaul and redesign of the company’s website with special consideration to SEO, domain migration, redesign of their home page Flash presentation, creating and managing marketing materials, venue photosourcing, developing custom drill-down techniques to access content in this continually growing, deep-content site, manipulation of javascript, PHP, and XML.

1995 - Present     Z Graphics, San Rafael, California.
Owner/Designer/Production Manager: Design and production of marketing/advertising materials for an expanding clientele that has included such notables as Grammy-Award winning musician, Carlos Santana; renowned fashion designer, Jean Paul Gaultier; Pinnacle Production Group of San Jose; Baptiste Power of Yoga; ORO Editions - publishers of architectural literature that depicted views of the Bill Gates Estate of Seattle; Wines of America; San Francisco Bay Opera; San Francisco Mandolin Orchestra, to name a few. These assignments, many of which have been referrals, have ranged from design work of banners celebrating a world tour, to marketing and advertising brochures for international buyers and websites, to scenery and backdrops for corporate events, such as conventions and annual meetings. In addition, the completion of extensive custom design such as invitations, letterhead, business cards, DVD, VHS, and CD covers.

1995 - 1997     Skeleton Crew Design, San Rafael, California.
Custom Designer: Created multiple design projects, custom signs and banner layouts for clients and vendors.  Managed the office and coordinated job assignments, interfacing directly with a large clientele. Designed for all print, on-line and signage of various media and application. Left the company on good terms to establish my own design operation.

1991 - 1995     Kinkos, San Rafael, California.
Senior Computer Specialist: Within a deadline-driven, multi-tasking environment, served as the senior computer specialist assuming a wide range of responsibilities. Served as creative problem solver and troubleshooter, addressing new challenges on a daily basis. Leadership and team building was foremost in my position. Extensive hands-on with many types of printers and equipment was an integral part of my assignment.

Special Interests & Creative Achievements (in part-time mode): In 1994, founded the band Azigza in the Bay Area and serve as its primary composer of music and principal guitarist. The music has been defined as trance-rock-world-fusion. Considerable interest has evolved in the group which has prompted invitations to perform at International Festivals, colleges and universities, and provided an opportunity for making several CDs. The CDs have earned favorable reviews in the Los Angeles Times, and several Progressive Rock publications, including Expose magazine whose review stated: “Azigza is the most important progressive rock band the United States has to offer.”

Board member of and player in The San Francisco Mandolin Orchestra.

Currently working on a recording project with singer Jon Anderson.
